Operational Risk Analyst

About the role:

The Operational Risk Analyst will be responsible for building and overseeing the operational risk program. This includes, developing and implementing processes and tools to identify, assess, measure, monitor, and report on controls and control effectiveness. Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on formulating practical action plans to resolve complex issues. The Operational Risk Analyst will foster a culture of awareness, transparency, and accountability through building strong relationships across all levels of the firm.

Responsibilities:

This position is a hybrid position, 3 days a week in the office.

Position Requirements/Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • 5-7 years experience in a control function, ideally at another asset manager or related financial services firm
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment including translation of complex concepts and issues into insights for senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence positive change and cultivate relationships to accomplish goals.
  • Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working under tight timelines, producing accurate results, and mitigating risks.
